Intimate weddings

For couples planning a small, intimate wedding. Ten years of portrait and boudoir photography, alongside two years photographing weddings and elopements with Cactus Collective Weddings in Las Vegas, now brought together in Lincolnshire, with personal colour analysis woven in for those who want every detail considered.

The experience behind the camera

Ten years photographing portraits and boudoir, across Las Vegas to Washington DC, taught me how to read a face before it settles and how to work fast without ever making someone feel rushed.

Alongside that, I spent two years photographing weddings and elopements with Cactus Collective Weddings, one of America's most recognised names in micro weddings and elopements, shooting around twenty-five to thirty ceremonies for couples travelling from across the world for exactly the kind of day you are planning now. I learned there what an intimate wedding actually demands of a photographer: total presence, a fast, unobtrusive eye, and the discipline to make twenty guests feel like the only twenty people in the world.

That portfolio was built under desert light, all dust and gold and red rock, and on the famous Las Vegas Strip. Lincolnshire asks for something different, walled gardens, soft stone, centuries of history, for which I have brought the same art to it. What does not change is the thing that matters most: I know how to find the quiet, unrepeatable moments inside a small room full of people who love each other, and hold them still enough to last a lifetime.

The full day Eight hours of coverage, arrival to first dance, for a wedding of up to thirty guests. Travel across Lincolnshire included. Colour, before the day

I offer a consultation before the wedding. Armocromia, personal colour analysis trained in the Italian tradition, helps you find the perfect colour for your wedding dress, and for the flowers and finer details around it. A session is available at my studio at Aubourn Estate, as part of your wider wedding preparation, and it is the point where my two crafts finally meet.

Why a small wedding at Aubourn Estate

There is a particular kind of wedding day that Lincolnshire does beautifully, small, unhurried, built around the people who actually know you. Everyone in the room matters, and you can feel it. It tends to be the day couples remember most clearly afterwards, not because less happened, but because they were actually present for all of it.

Aubourn Estate's Intimate Estate package is built for exactly this, fourteen to thirty guests, the historic Hall yours from midday into evening, no rush, only the sound of the gardens outside. I am lucky enough to call Aubourn home, my studio sits in the estate office, and I have the privilege of knowing these gardens as they change through every season. You might marry in the estate's own small church, its stone walls seating up to twenty, or exchange vows beneath a centuries-old cedar tree on the lawn, then gather your inner circle around the dining table for a long, unhurried evening. When the celebration winds down, there is no journey home, only a short walk across the grass to the Barn House, where the day quietly continues into the next morning.
